Ironwood City Taxes are mailed out by June 30th of
each ear. They are payable through August 10th of the
year without penalty. After August 10th a 3% penalty is
added on. The taxes can be paid at the City offices
until March 1st of the following year. Thereafter they
are payable at the County Treasurer's office in
Bessemer, Michigan.
The December County taxes are mailed out in the last
week of November each year. They are payable through
February 15th of the next year without penalty. After
February 15th a 3% penalty is added on. These can also
be paid at the City offices until March 1st, and
thereafter are payable at the County Treasurer's office
in Bessemer, Michigan.
Personal Property Taxes are always payable at the
City of Ironwood offices. After March 1st of each year a
3% penalty is added on, plus 1% interest per month.
Taxes can be paid Monday thru Friday from 9:00 A.M.
to 3:30 P.M.
