The Ironwood Public Safety Department is responsible for
all police and fire protection within the City, plus the
fire protection in Erwin Township. All Public Safety
Officers are MLEOTC certified police officers and
Michigan Fire Fighters training council certified level
II. The City of Ironwood also has a volunteer fire
department which assists in fire protection and
prevention. The public Safety Department is located at
123 W. Mcleod Ave. and the phone number is (906) 932
