Business License
No person shall engage or
be engaged in the operation, conduct or carrying on of
any trade, profession, business or privilege to City
residents or businesses without first obtaining a
license from the City of Ironwood in the manner provided
for in Chapter 8 of the City of Ironwood’s code of
Ordinances
The granting of a business license shall not relieve
any person to whom such business license is granted from
the necessity of securing individual licenses for each
such trade, profession, business or privilege.
Business Licenses expire on February 28th of each
year. Renewal letters are sent out in January and are
payable without penalty for the first thirty (30) days
that the license fee remains unpaid. According to the
City of Ironwood Ordinance Book, Chapter 8-16 after the
thirty (30) days the unpaid license fee will increase
fifty (50) percent of the original fee.
